Welcome to the Self Defence Women Only Class at Jissenkai Japanese Kickboxing Dojo, located in the heart of Glasgow city. This martial arts school is dedicated to providing a safe and empowering environment for women to learn and practise self-defence techniques.
The Self Defence Women Only Class is held every Saturday at 7. 00 pm, providing women with an opportunity to gain essential skills in self-protection. Led by experienced female instructors, this class focuses on practical techniques and strategies for defending oneself in real-life situations. Women of all ages and fitness levels are welcome to join and participate in these classes.
In addition to the Self Defence Women Only Class, Jissenkai Japanese Kickboxing Dojo also offers a range of other classes. General Kickboxing classes are available for both men and women on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6. 15 pm, while a Women's Only Kickboxing class is held at 7. 15 pm on those same days.
A Children's Kickboxing class is also offered on Saturdays at 6. 00 pm, providing a fun and engaging environment for kids to develop their self-defence skills.

Chief Instructor Prasanna Fernando is the owner and head instructor of the dojo, while Assistant Instructor Sathmi Fernando brings years of experience in Kyokushin full contact Karate. Their training programmes are designed to build a strong foundation of athletic and motivational skills that apply both in and out of the dojo.
Jissenkai Japanese Kickboxing Dojo also offers children's martial arts classes, aimed at improving confidence, focus, fitness, and personal defence for kids. These small group semi-private training sessions have limited spots available, so interested parents are encouraged to enrol their children soon.
