Seibukan Aikido UK, located in Milton Keynes, England, is the UK Shibu dojo of the Seibukan dojo in Kobe, Japan. As a not for profit organisation, Seibukan Aikido UK is dedicated to practising traditional Aikido based on the teachings of Ueshiba Morihei under the guidance of Nakao Shingo Sensei, Aikikai 7th Dan.
With a passion for Aikido, Nakao Sensei has been highly influential in the development of Aikido practise at Seibukan Aikido UK and is regarded as a truly inspirational human being by its members. The club invites anyone with an interest in Aikido to come and visit, as they look forward to meeting new people.
The Aikido training at Seibukan UK is designed to accommodate students of all levels, from beginners to intermediate and advanced practitioners. Whether you are just starting out and want to try Aikido for the first time or have been training for years and want to get back into it, Seibukan UK provides classes that cater to everyone's needs.
The classes at Seibukan UK are known for their relaxed and friendly atmosphere, where all participants learn the same principles together regardless of their experience. Unfortunately, the club does not currently offer junior classes, focusing solely on adult training.
Seibukan UK conducts its classes twice a week, with the Monday class taking place at the Kents Hill Dojo from 20:00 to 21:30 and the Wednesday class held at the Tattenhoe Dojo from 19:15 to 21:00. The Tattenhoe Dojo is located at Tattenhoe Pavilion on Holborn Crescent, while the Kents Hill Dojo is situated at Kents Hill Community Centre on Frithwood Crescent, both easily accessible within Milton Keynes.
