

Sedgefield Squash Club, located within the picturesque grounds of Ceddesfeld Hall in Sedgefield, County Durham, is a friendly and welcoming squash and racketball club. With a recent refurbishment in 2020 and 2021, the club offers two courts, player relaxation areas, and spectator viewing areas.
The club prides itself on its successful and active adult and junior sections. Whether you're seeking friendly matches for fitness and fun, participating in internal leagues, or representing the club against other local clubs in the Durham & Cleveland Squash Rackets Association, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved. Additionally, as a section of the Sedgefield Community Association, members have access to the bar and facilities at Ceddesfeld Hall. The club is also affiliated with England Squash.
For squash enthusiasts, Sedgefield Squash Club offers the opportunity to play competitive games or enjoy friendly matches. The club's Men's and Women's teams compete in the Durham and Cleveland County Leagues, with all home games starting at 19:20hrs.
Racketball, one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, is also available at the club. This dynamic sport provides a fantastic way to work out, enhance hand-eye coordination, and have competitive fun. Racketball sessions can burn up to 800 calories in just a 45-minute session.
Sedgefield Squash Club takes pride in its robust junior section, which is one of the strongest in the region. The club has seen the development of County & Regional champions and has introduced numerous youngsters to the sport, emphasising that squash is enjoyable at any level. Coaching is available both as part of membership/coaching packages and on an individual basis with England Squash qualified coaches. The club also runs Squash Stars, an initiative by England Squash aimed at engaging more young people in the sport.
To support the club, members can purchase club-branded clothing, including T-shirts, hoodies, shorts, training pants, and performance 1/4 zip tops, from the club shop.
