Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on developing a balanced, strong, lean, and flexible body. It incorporates breathing techniques and core strength to improve posture and address structural imbalances in the body, often leading to reduced or eliminated pain. Pilates is suitable for people of all fitness levels and can be tailored to meet individual needs. At Seaside Pilates, classes can be as challenging or gentle as desired, ensuring a comfortable and effective workout for everyone.
Seaside Pilates is located in the picturesque seaside suburb of Largs Bay, offering a serene and peaceful environment for practising Pilates. The studio features an Equipment room equipped with beautiful Australian made Pilates equipment, handcrafted for optimum comfort and support. The Mat room is designed for convenience, providing mats for clients to attend classes without the need for additional equipment. Classes at Seaside Pilates are never boring or repetitive, as a range of small equipment is used to keep exercises engaging and varied.
The studio is air-conditioned for added comfort, and Kindred Self essential oils, music, and mindfulness techniques are incorporated into every class. All that is required is that clients bring their own socks to wear during class.
Seaside Pilates is led by owners Chantell Murphy and Zana Suica, both passionate and experienced Pilates instructors. Chantell discovered Pilates through her own journey of chronic back pain and has not experienced any episodes of pain since practising Pilates. She obtained her nationally recognised Diploma of Pilates Therapy and Instruction in 2009 and has worked with a diverse range of clients, including elite athletes and vision-impaired individuals. Chantell's extensive experience with rehabilitation practises allows her to provide effective and safe workouts for clients with various injuries.
