Welcome to Seamer Indoor Sports Centre, WA's favourite indoor sports facility for Indoor Cricket, Netball, and Indoor Soccer. Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned player, we have competitions to suit all skill levels and age groups. Our goal at Seamer Sports is to enhance the health and fitness of our community through the love of sports.
At Seamer Sports, we offer both 6 a side and 8 a side competitions for Indoor Netball, played Monday to Thursday nights. Our indoor netball game is fast-paced and frantic, yet still enjoyable for players of all skill levels. With no out-of-bounds and a smaller court than the traditional outdoor game, Seamer Indoor Netball provides an exciting and inclusive experience for everyone.
We also offer Indoor Cricket for both seniors and juniors. Indoor Cricket has been a popular sport in Australia since the late 70s and is played by over 200,000 participants nationwide. Here at Seamer Sports, we have senior 6 a side and 8 a side competitions on Monday to Thursday nights, and junior cricket for boys and girls on Friday afternoons. Our competitions have structured divisions to cater to both experienced and inexperienced players.
Game durations for Indoor Cricket are 65 minutes for 6 a side and 70 minutes for 8 a side. Games start at 6pm and continue at the relevant time intervals. It is important for all players to arrive at the centre no later than 5 minutes prior to the scheduled game time.
For the upcoming summer season, the next season start dates for each competition are as follows: Monday 6 a side Night, 12th October 2020; Tuesday 6 a side Night, 13th October 2020; Wednesday 8 a side Night, 14th October 2020; Thursday 6 a side Night, 15th October 2020.
Uniforms are a requirement for all teams. All players in a team must compete in the same coloured shirts. Shirts may be of any colour or style, as long as all teammates wear the exact same colour. This must be adhered to by Round 3 of the regular competition.
Failure to comply will result in a 5 run penalty for each player out of uniform, deducted from their batting skin.
Our point system for Indoor Cricket is as follows: Win = 4 points, Draw = 2 points, Loss = 0 points. Additionally, there is 1 bonus point for each skin won.
