Welcome to Seahorses Riding Centre Beach Ride Meeting Area, located in Brunswick Heads, Byron Bay. At Seahorses, we provide a fantastic opportunity to explore the natural beauty of Byron Bay on horseback. Whether you are a tiny tot, a nervous novice, or an experienced rider, we have something for everyone.
Our base is conveniently situated at the Tyagrah rest area, just 4 kilometres north of the Byron Bay turn-off. Here, we offer forest rides, lessons, and adventure pony rides. For our beach rides, we head to the seashore of beautiful Brunswick Heads, which is only 15 minutes north of Byron Bay. These beach rides last for 1.
5 hours and provide a picturesque experience by the sea.
To ensure a safe and enjoyable ride, we have a maximum of 8 people per ride and two professional escorts accompanying each group. Our team takes great care in selecting the perfect horse for each rider, providing a personalised and comfortable experience.
For the kids, we offer Adventure Pony Walks, where we teach children the correct safety methods associated with taking care of their pony and riding. This includes a safety class, getting to know your pony, and a fun-filled hand walk through the woods. Parents are more than welcome to come along and capture memorable moments with their cameras.
Furthermore, we specialise in Pony Parties, making your child's special day even more magical. Our ponies love to get involved in the celebration, offering pony pampering, games, and of course, rides. Each pony party is personalised according to your child's birthday needs.
Our pricing for the Adventure Pony Walk is $110 per person for a half-hour walk on the beach. This includes a safety class and bonding session with the horse before the ride. Family members are also welcome to walk along with the tour. Beach rides, on the other hand, are priced at $220 per person for a 1.
5-hour ride. This also includes a safety lesson and bonding time with your horse.
For those seeking a more private experience, we offer Private Beach Rides at the same rate of $220 per person, lasting for 1. 5 hours.
Please note that our beach rides are available from Monday to Friday and will be opening on December 1st, 2021. This allows us to provide a more exclusive experience, as weekends and public holidays tend to be crowded with people and sports events. However, on weekdays, we are fortunate to have the beach to ourselves, offering a peaceful and serene ride.
