Located in the heart of Gasp, School Sailing Le Cormoran offers sailing lessons on one of the most beautiful bodies of water in Quebec. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced sailor, there is an experience tailored to your level at School Sailing Le Cormoran. The school is approved by the Quebec Sailing Federation.
For young sailors aged 6 and up, School Sailing Le Cormoran provides a variety of nautical activities. From Mini-Sailing to more advanced levels, children of all ages and skills can enjoy a safe space to explore the joys of summer on the water. Activities include sailing, marine environment discovery, swimming, seamanship, games, and more.
The school offers different types of courses for both children and adults. From Mini-Sailing for 6-8-year-olds to advanced sailing techniques for older participants, there is something for everyone. The school also offers special programs like Voile Aventure, where participants can explore Gasp Bay with daily adventures and overnight camping on Boom Beach.
Regular activities run from 9 am to 4 pm with supervision provided 30 minutes before and after classes. Participants are advised to bring a cold lunch as meals are not always provided on-site. School Sailing Le Cormoran provides individual floatation devices (VFI) and wetsuits. To register for courses, simply fill out the online registration form. Register two or more children simultaneously and receive a 10% discount on the total bill (weeks do not have to be consecutive).
