Welcome to School House Swimming, a family-run swimming school located in Oldham, Greater Manchester. With 32 years of experience, we have been dedicated to teaching people how to swim and providing a friendly and secure environment for children to learn.
Our swimming pool, measuring 12. 5m × 6m, was built in 1988 alongside our house to accommodate our three sons, who were all passionate about swimming. As they progressed to national level competitions and university, we decided to transform the pool into a teaching facility. We believe that our success in teaching children to swim is largely due to our small class sizes, with only one group being taught at a time.
This ensures that our experienced teachers can provide their full attention and support to each student, with the teacher being in the water with them and a lifeguard present on the poolside.
At School House Swimming, we offer a range of swimming lessons for children aged 2 and above. Our dedicated teachers, with a combined total of 55 years of expertise, focus on developing good style and technique in small classes. Many of our students have gone on to achieve the A. S.
A gold award, a testament to the quality of our instruction.
Our facility features an entrance reception area and a conservatory, providing a warm and welcoming environment for both parents and students. The swimming pool itself is equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience for everyone.
