Glamour Puss Studios, a popular Contemporary Dance club in St Kilda, is buzzing with excitement as they introduce their brand new school uniform for their students. This stylish uniform features satiny circle skirts with a chic black elastic waistband, available in a range of vibrant colours such as yellow, orange, green, purple, pink, and aqua.
To celebrate this fabulous addition to their dance wardrobe, Glamour Puss Studios is hosting an exciting sewing bee on Saturday, 28th October, right at their studio. This event allows participants to come together and create their very own circle skirts. The studio will provide the necessary material and elastic on the day, but participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines, thread, chalk, scissors, and measuring tape.
If the scheduled sewing bee doesn't suit your schedule, worry not! Glamour Puss Studios is more than happy to arrange a sewing bee specifically for your class or even add a studio session. Alternatively, you can choose to craft your skirt on your own time. The cost of materials has been kept minimal, with satin priced at just $12 and elastic at $6. And if you want to take your ensemble to the next level, optional petticoats in contrasting colours are also available for $16.50.
Creating the circle skirt is a simple process, with easy-to-follow steps. Participants will determine the small and big radii based on their hip measurement and desired length. For those who prefer a t-shirt, the talented Miss Nicole will be creating sparkly cats on black t-shirts. To secure your preferred t-shirt, don't forget to fill in a form by 21st October. However, if you decide to source your own tee, make sure it's a round-neck, short-sleeved black one.
When it comes to accessorising the new school uniform, the theme is “baubles, bangles, and beads.” Participants are encouraged to wear their own unique pieces or head over to Kmart for inspiration, where they can find festive bauble headbands.
Revamping the school uniform was made possible through the exceptional hard work and creativity of Miss Nicole, Miss Janet, and the uniform committee, consisting of 8 talented kittens. Glamour Puss Studios is incredibly grateful for their valuable contributions in shaping and developing this stylish new uniform.
Located in St Kilda, the studio offers its students convenient access to a private car park. To enter, simply head towards the rose gold door and don't hesitate to step in, even if you hear music playing. And if you arrive a little early, feel free to relax on the couch while waiting for your class to begin.
Get ready to dance in style with Glamour Puss Studios' new school uniform and join the sewing bee event to create your very own satiny circle skirt. Don't miss out on this fantastic opportunity to showcase your creativity and individuality.
