PerthSwim's School Squad (2 sessions/wk)-term is back and better than ever! Offering two sessions per week throughout the term, this is the perfect opportunity for swimming enthusiasts in East Perth to enhance their skills and stay fit.
The sessions are held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 3.30 pm and running until approximately 4.15 or 4.30 pm. It's a great way to unwind after school, meet like-minded swimmers, and take your swimming abilities to the next level.
Our club understands that swimmers are at different stages of their swimming journey. That's why we have tailored the School Squad into three levels to cater to individual needs and goals.
First up, we have the Mini-Squad. This level is designed for participants who have reached at least Stage 6 and focuses on improving squad skills. It's an excellent choice for those transitioning from swimming lessons to squad training.
Next, we have the Fitness level. This is where the focus shifts towards general aerobic conditioning and technique improvement. Participants should have reached at least Stage 7 to join this level.
Finally, for those with a competitive edge, we offer the Training/Target level. This level serves as a qualifier for club training and is perfect for swimmers who aspire to compete at a higher level.
But that's not all! We also have a Year 7-9 Squad available, specifically designed to provide non-swim team swimmers with a great way to stay in top shape and improve their overall fitness.
Please note that the School Squad (2 sessions/wk)-term is only available during weeks 2-9 of Term 1. We want to make sure our swimmers have ample time to participate and make the most out of the program. Just remember, there will be no training on Interschool Day (Thursday Week 6).
