Scarborough Minor Football is a thriving football club based in Scarborough, Ontario, providing a fun and competitive environment for young athletes to learn and develop their skills in flag football. The club offers four divisions for the 2024 season, catering to children in Grade 1/2, Grade 3/4, Grade 5/6, and Grade 7/8.
The flag football program consists of 5v5 Co-Ed games, with each team playing one game per week over an 11-week season. The season runs from May 22nd to August 7th, with all games taking place on Wednesday nights at Winston Churchill CI on 2239 Lawrence Ave. E. The club prioritizes player safety and enjoyment, with an end of season BBQ and awards ceremony to celebrate the young athletes' achievements.
To participate in the Scarborough Minor Football league, teams are required to have a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 10 players. The league fee for the 2024 season is $250. 00 per team, and games are 30 minutes long, consisting of two 15-minute halves. Additionally, teams will receive uniforms (shirts and shorts) by the first week of the season.
