Paul runs the Sawbridgeworth School of Shotokan Karate (SSSK), a local club in Sawbridgeworth, dedicated to teaching high-quality Traditional Shotokan Karate. Whether you're a beginner or have prior martial arts experience, SSSK welcomes everyone to join their sessions.
Following the teachings of martial arts legends Soke Hirokazu Kanazawa and Hanshi Mick Randall, training happens every Thursday from 7:00pm to 8:30pm and Sundays from 10:00am to 12:00pm. Additionally, Dan grades get a special session on the first Wednesday of each month from 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
With fully insured instructors and DBS checks in place, Paul ensures a safe and secure training environment, making SSSK more than just a sport; it's a journey of self-discovery and personal growth. Emphasis is placed on core values like humility and respect, starting with simple traditions like bowing (Rei).
Since its inception in 2011, SSSK has been a pillar in the community, and despite the sad passing of Sensei Michael Randall MBE in 2020, the club continues to thrive.
