Saunton Sands Vista is a well-known road cycling club based in Braunton, North Devon. Mark's passion for cycling has created a unique and thrilling experience along the stunning Saunton Sands Beach. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist or just getting started, there’s something here for everyone.
The club is perched on a picturesque 3-mile stretch of golden sand, backed by the Braunton Burrows Biosphere Reserve. The beach’s high tidal range and slow waves make it a surfer's paradise, and cyclists will find the scenery absolutely breathtaking.
Saunton Sands Vista is open to both locals and tourists keen to discover Braunton's beauty on two wheels. Located conveniently on the B3231, the club is easily accessible from Braunton and Croyde. On arrival, you'll be greeted by friendly staff in the car park, ready to assist and answer any queries.
Mark has made sure the club has excellent facilities to enhance the cycling experience. There’s dog-friendly accommodation at Saunton Beach Villas right on-site, and the Saunton Beach Shop offers a variety of beach essentials and souvenirs.
If you fancy a break, you can rent a beach hut or deckchair seasonally and soak up the sun. For a bite to eat, head to the Beachside Grill—an indoor and outdoor licenced restaurant that serves up a delicious range of refreshments and meals.
For those wanting to catch some waves, there's surf hire available at Surfed Out, conveniently located beneath the Beachside Grill's balcony. Plus, the club partners with local surf schools, Walking on Waves and Surf Saunton, for anyone wanting to give surfing a go.
