Founded in 2007 by the eminent Smt. Gayathri, a graduate of Kalakshetra and a seasoned performer with a global reputation, the school has been nurturing talent for over a decade. Smt. Gayathri's expertise spans various facets of Bharatanatyam, including Natya Shastra, Abhinaya Tharpanam, and Geetha Govindam. Her experience and passion for the art form infuse each class with authenticity and depth, providing students with an all-encompassing education in dance.
More than just a dance school, Sarguru Natyalaya is a thriving community where tradition meets creativity. Over 250 students have been transformed here, guided not only in the technicalities of Bharatanatyam but also in the cultural and philosophical depths of Indian dance. The school actively hosts and participates in cultural festivals such as Ganesha Chaturthi, Maha Shivarathri, and Navarathri Uthsavam, making it a hub for cultural enrichment.
Classes are held from Monday to Friday between 4:00 PM and 9:00 PM, offering flexibility for students of all ages. Apart from Bharatanatyam, Sarguru Natyalaya also offers training in Indian folk dances and Carnatic music.
