Are you the owner of Saraswathy Bharatha Natiya Vidhyalaya?

Saraswathy Bharatha Natiya Vidhyalaya presents an enchanting journey into the vibrant world of Bharatha Natiyam, one of India's most revered and expressive dance forms. Established in 1987 under the guidance of Saraswathi Ammal and the blessings of Mr. Duraiswamy, this institution has thrived for over three decades under the dedicated tutelage of Guru Narthana Sironmani Smt. Girija Murugan. Her profound expertise and commitment to the art have nurtured numerous acclaimed dancers, creating a nurturing environment where tradition and talent flourish.
At Saraswathy Bharatha Natiya Vidhyalaya, over 300 students receive training annually, with many progressing to perform their arangetram, a significant milestone in a dancer’s journey, symbolizing their readiness to perform independently. The school celebrates the rich cultural heritage of Bharatha Natiyam, known for its grace, purity, and sculpturesque poses that trace back to the divine inspiration of Lord Shiva himself.
Guru Narthana Sironmani Smt. Girija Murugan, a distinguished disciple of Smt. Sowmya and Smt. Lalitha Thiagarajan, brings over 32 years of artistic wisdom to the institution. Her thematic presentations are celebrated for their intellectual depth, aesthetic beauty, and spiritual essence. Following the Vazhvoor Ramaiya Pillai (Thanjavur style), her choreography and teaching reflect a deep devotion and a passionate quest to impart the timeless tenets of Bharatha Natiyam to every student.
The school's community spirit extends beyond its walls as it offers dance classes in various schools like Jayagopal Garodia, St. Aloysius, Church Park, and Sathya Sai Matriculation, enriching the cultural tapestry of the broader community. Saraswathy Bharatha Natiya Vidhyalaya stands as a beacon of excellence in preserving and propagating the exquisite art of Bharatha Natiyam, where every dancer’s journey is a testament to the beauty and grace of this ancient dance form.
