

Sandy FC, an England Football Accredited 2 Star Club in Sandy, Bedfordshire, offers pathways from youth to adult football, striving for excellence at all levels. In May 2019, Sandy FC and Sandy Colts merged, combining their rich football histories under one club. Sandy FC, established in 1909, competes in the Bedfordshire County league with both first and reserves teams, welcoming new players.
Sandy Colts, founded in 1973, is celebrating its 50th season. The club hosts U7’s to U18’s teams, each led by at least one FA Level 1 qualified coach, plus four UEFA C qualified coaches. All coaches are trained in emergency aid and child welfare, ensuring player safety.
Parking guidelines respect local residents, offering free parking in the town centre for Bedford Road games and ample parking along the main road for Sunderland Road games. Parking at the village hall/secondary school end is also available. Parking on Berwick Way is discouraged to maintain estate access.
Sandy FC hosts events like the upcoming curry night, with tickets available at the Tea hut at Sunderland Road on Sundays or the clubhouse at Bedford Road on Saturdays. Reservations can also be made via social media. These events support the club’s development.
This season has seen successes including county cup finals and league division wins. Junior team trials for the upcoming season will be on June 11th from 10 am to 12 pm at Bedford Road Park.
