Sandy Bowen, the driving force behind Sands Theatre Arts School in Oxford, invites young performers aged 7-18 to join an energetic and supportive community. Since 1998, Sandy has crafted a dynamic part-time programme that covers acting, singing, and dancing, all while ensuring students have fun.
With a history of positive feedback from both parents and students, some of whom now bring their own kids, Sands has solidified its reputation as a premier youth theatre school in the area. Located at Wheatley Park School in Holton, classes run on Saturdays during term time, with sessions from 10am-1pm and 2pm-5pm, at a rate of £22 per session or £16.50 for siblings.
Students get the chance to perform in full-length musical theatre productions, enhancing their self-confidence and getting a taste of the stage. If you're unsure, Sandy offers a free session to newcomers to experience the vibrant atmosphere firsthand.
