Release April 2020 We Are Open June 2020 Sandbach Gymnastics is a renowned gymnastics club located in Sandbach, Cheshire. With a rich history dating back to the mid-80s, the club takes pride in its representation of Great Britain at various levels of gymnastics.

The coaching team at Sandbach Gymnastics consists of qualified coaches and volunteer coaches who are trained and certified by the national governing body, British Gymnastics. The club follows the strategys and policies set by British Gymnastics to ensure the safety and well-being of all its members.

Sandbach Gymnastics boasts a brand new, fully refurbished facility that spans an impressive 20,000 square feet. Thanks to the generous support from the Denise Coates Foundation, the gymnastics facility has been transformed into a world-class training space. This facility serves as the home of Sandbach Gymnastics Foundation and is set to cater to the needs of the Cheshire East district and neighbouring regions for years to come.

Affiliated with British Gymnastics and English Gymnastics, Sandbach Gymnastics has been recommended as a safe and friendly club through the Club Mark programme. The club ensures that all classes are supervised by qualified coaches who have been DBS approved, providing a secure environment for gymnasts of all ages.

Sandbach Gymnastics offers a variety of classes for different age groups and skill levels. General Gymnastics classes run for 1 hour and are held on weekday evenings between 4 pm and 6 pm, as well as Saturday mornings. These classes follow a 10-week course structure and require advance payment. Additionally, Pre-School Gymnastics classes, designed for younger children, operate for 45 minutes and follow a 6-week course format.

In addition to the structured classes, Sandbach Gymnastics also provides casual classes such as Toddler Time, Adult Gymnastics, and Teenager Gymnastics. These classes allow participants to pay on the day and are a great way to explore gymnastics without long-term commitments.

Sandbach Gymnastics offers monthly memberships for those who wish to commit to more intensive training. These memberships include Floor + Vault Classes, WA Development Classes, WA Junior Team, WA Senior Team, SA Development Classes, and SA Tumbling Team. Members of these groups and teams pay by monthly standing order in advance and receive a discount. Please note that these classes are invite-only.

The club prides itself on its dedicated and talented gymnastics teams. The Senior Team consists of 10 members who train approximately 25 hours per week, focusing on competitive development. Led by coach Tracy Cooper, this team is highly motivated and committed to achieving personal excellence.

The Junior Team, also an invite-only group, trains up to 12 hours per week and aims for success in county and regional events. Coach Kirsty Morrey leads this competitive development team.

Sandbach Gymnastics also offers a range of Development Groups, which are invite-only and require monthly standing order payments. These groups train for 3 hours per week under the guidance of coaches Danni Cwiklinski, Kirsty Morrey, and Lisa Murdock.

For those interested in tumbling, Sandbach Gymnastics introduces the Tumbling Team. This newly established team trains for 6 hours per week and is preparing for competitions. Tumbling development groups, also training for 3 hours per week, are available throughout the week and led by coaches Peter Aldous, Danni Cwiklinski, and Kirsty Morrey.
