Samurai Kickboxing is a renowned martial arts school located in Maidenhead. Founded by Matt Collins 14 years ago, Samurai Kickboxing began as a result of his 4-year-old nephew's desire to learn kickboxing with a few friends. From its humble beginnings, the school has grown exponentially and remains a family affair, with Matt's sister Paula serving as the Managing Director.

At Samurai Kickboxing, children can expect to develop a wide range of skills, including resilience, determination, focus, discipline, self-confidence, self-esteem, flexibility, balance, coordination, reflexes, aerobic fitness, endurance, and stamina. With a focus on high-quality teaching, the classes are designed to help students become better versions of themselves.

Contrary to misconceptions, the classes at Samurai Kickboxing are safe, professional, fun, and engaging, offering much more than just kickboxing. Instructors are fully qualified martial artists, trained in the school's kickboxing syllabus, and equipped with Advanced DBS, Paediatric First Aid, and Child Protection Certification to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Classes at Samurai Kickboxing are divided by age groups, recognising that one size does not fit all. There are classes available for Little Samurai (age 4 – School Year 2), Young Samurai (School Years 3 – 6), Samurai Kickboxers (School Year 7+), and Adult Fitness Kickboxing (age 15+). This age-specific approach ensures that students receive appropriate instruction based on their developmental stage.

Samurai Kickboxing is committed to providing a holistic martial arts experience, offering additional services such as gradings, sparring, support for dealing with bullying, holiday camps, and tournament participation. The school also prioritises child safeguarding and has developed a comprehensive Child Safeguarding Policy to ensure the safety and well-being of all its students.

With over 1500 students attending classes each week, Samurai Kickboxing is proud to serve the communities of Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Dorset, and Jersey. They offer both school-based and public classes in various locations within these areas.
