Samba Dance & Fitness is a well-established Dance school, Drama school, and Fitness centre located in Rochdale, New Zealand. With over 20 years of experience, the school has been providing high-quality dance, drama, and fitness classes to the community. Owned and run by Samantha Clarke, a Licentiate member of the UKA dance Association and a recognised Championship adjudicator for BDC and ADFP, the school is dedicated to offering a wide range of classes for all ages and abilities.
The school offers a variety of dance styles including Freestyle, Disco, Street, Lyrical, Breakdance, Cheerleading, Ballet, and Tap. They also provide classes in Ballroom and Latin American dance. Additionally, there are fitness classes available such as Zumba Latin American, Boogie Bounce, Bums and Tums, and PiYo. With such a diverse range of classes, Samba Dance & Fitness ensures that everyone can find a class that suits their interests and goals, whether it's for fun, examinations, or competition purposes.
Samba Dance & Fitness takes the health and safety of its students seriously, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. The school operates according to government guidelines and has implemented measures to ensure a safe environment. Masks are required upon entry, and sanitising stations are conveniently placed throughout the school.
With a strong sense of community, Samba Dance & Fitness actively participates in local events, charities, and mayoral-organised days. They take pride in being part of a community that cares about the well-being of its residents. Moreover, the school collaborates with local schools, delivering dance lessons as part of the Primary school PE curriculum.
Recently, Samba Dance & Fitness has purchased its own premises, which opened in March 2018. The new facility features a spacious reception/waiting area, disabled access and amenities, three dance studios, and a dedicated car park. This expansion allows the school to better serve its students and provide them with an enhanced learning experience.
