Sama Martial Arts

Weekend classes are slightly longer at 1 hour in duration. In our kids karate classes, students will learn the basics of karate, including kicks, punches, blocks, and stances. They will also learn valuable life skills such as discipline, focus, respect, and self-confidence.

Kickboxing (From 7yrs+) For students aged 7 and above, we offer kickboxing classes that are energetic, fun, and challenging. Kickboxing is a great way to improve cardiovascular fitness, build strength and endurance, and develop self-defence skills. Our kickboxing classes are suitable for all fitness levels, from beginners to advanced students. In these classes, students will learn a combination of kicks, punches, knee strikes, and elbow strikes, all taught through various drills and pad work.

Our expert kickboxing instructors will guide students through proper techniques and ensure a safe and enjoyable training experience.

Venues We have classes located in various venues across our covered areas. Our venues include community centres, sports halls, and schools. Each venue is equipped with the necessary equipment and facilities to provide a safe and comfortable training environment. Fun Days At SAMA Martial Arts, we understand the importance of play and enjoyment in martial arts training. That's why we organise fun days throughout the year for our students. Instructors Our instructors are highly qualified and experienced in teaching martial arts. Headed by Hanshi Alan Gibson, who has over 60 years of martial arts experience, our team of instructors follow a comprehensive teaching syllabus that ensures students receive quality instruction and progression. Our instructors hold first aid and safeguarding certifications, and they are fully DBS checked. They are dedicated to providing a safe and positive learning environment for all students at SAMA.

Membership and Pricing At SAMA Martial Arts, we offer a pay-as-you-go membership model, providing our parents and students with flexibility when it comes to attending classes. This means that if for any reason you or your child are unable to make a lesson, you will not lose your money. Our pricing is affordable and competitive, and we offer discounts for families and multiple classes. We also have a shop on our website where students can purchase training equipment and merchandise.
