Saltley Stallions Women's FC was founded by Obayed Hussain and Yasmin Nessa in response to the demand from Muslim women in Inner City Birmingham who were seeking more opportunities to be involved in the game. The club recognises the recent successes in women's football and aims to be a part of the growing movement towards gender equality in the sport.

Open to women from all backgrounds, Saltley Women's Football Club takes pride in its diversity and inclusivity.
