Salsa Souls – Bristol & Bath Latin Dance School is hosting a fantastic Salsa event in Bristol that is sure to get your hips shaking! Every Wednesday evening from 8 pm to 10 pm, Salsa classes are held, followed by an amazing freestyle dance session where you can show off your moves to the best Salsa, Bachata, and Latin tunes.
Arrive early, as the doors open at 7 pm, giving you plenty of time to get settled and ready for an unforgettable night of dancing. The classes are tailored to different skill levels. If you're an absolute beginner or just starting your Salsa journey, the beginners class is perfect for you. It starts promptly at 8 pm. For those who are more experienced and looking to take their skills to the next level, the improvers/intermediate class begins at 9 pm.
If you're unsure about which class suits you best, don't worry! There may be a quick assessment to determine your level, ensuring you get the most out of your dancing experience. Mark your calendars because the classes will resume on Wednesday, 10th January 2024.
No need to worry about booking in advance, simply drop in and join the fun. You can start attending the classes at any time, and the best part is, you don't require a partner to participate. The fee for the absolute beginners class is £10 in cash (£9 for full-time students with NUS). You can pay in cash at the venue, but please note, there is no bar available, so be sure to bring your own drinks. Alcohol, however, is not allowed.
The classes take place at The Dance Hall, located at Victoria Methodist Church, 1A Whiteladies Rd, Bristol BS8 1NU. Convenient street parking is available free of charge after 6 pm in the area, and there is also a nearby car park available for £3.50 for the entire evening.
