Fellowship in Tap Dance. Kym has been a member of the teaching faculty at Saldance Theatre Arts for over 15 years and has played a crucial role in shaping the Tap syllabus and training programme. She is known for her energy, creativity, and passion for tap dance, and her classes are always lively and engaging.

Miss Amy Buckwell BA (Hons), RAD Registered Teacher, AISTD Miss Amy joined Saldance Theatre Arts in 2019 and has quickly become a valued member of the faculty. With a Bachelor's degree in Dance and extensive training in both ballet and modern dance, she brings a fresh perspective and diverse teaching style to the school. Amy is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing, and she actively encourages her students to pursue examinations and competitions to enhance their dance journey. She is dedicated to nurturing each student's individual strengths and helping them develop into well-rounded dancers.

In addition to regular classes, we also provide opportunities for our students to showcase their talents through participation in theatre productions, competitions, and workshops. Our biennial theatre production allows students to experience the excitement of performing on stage and showcase their hard work and achievements.

We also hold an annual Talent Competition and Awards Ceremony, where students have the opportunity to compete and be recognised for their talent and dedication. Throughout the year, we organise workshops with renowned industry professionals, providing our students with unique learning experiences and the opportunity to gain insights from experts in the field.

At Saldance Theatre Arts, we follow the syllabi of the International Dance Teachers' Association (IDTA). This internationally recognised organisation ensures that our students receive a comprehensive and well-rounded dance education. Students have the opportunity to take examinations up to a professional level, receiving certificates, rosettes, medals, and trophies as they progress through their training.
