Saints Swimming Club

Saints Swimming Club is a sports club located in Cairns, Australia. With a focus on providing high-quality swimming programmes for all ages and abilities, Saints Swimming Club aims to develop confident and skilled swimmers while promoting a love for the sport.

For children ages 4. 5 and up, the Learn to Swim programme offers a comprehensive progression that prioritises water safety and skills. As children advance, they have the opportunity to join specialised squads such as the Marlin squad for freestyle, the Octopus squad for backstroke and breaststroke, and the Dolphin squad for butterfly. These squads provide swimmers with the necessary techniques and training to become proficient in their chosen strokes.

For primary school-aged children who have already mastered the four strokes, the Mini Squads programme focuses on building confidence and skills. Swimmers in this programme learn race skills such as dives, turns, and pushoffs, preparing them for competitive swimming if they decide to pursue it.

For those who wish to take their swimming to the next level, Saints Swimming Club offers Competitive Squads that allow swimmers to become part of a team and train with purpose. Swimmers in these squads set goals, enjoy being challenged, and develop strategies to improve their performance. This programme is designed to help swimmers discover what they are truly capable of.

High school students can join the Fitness Squad, also known as the Bull Shark squad, which is a specialised programme focused on improving freestyle technique, speed, and stamina. This programme is designed to help teenage swimmers maintain fitness and continue to develop their swimming skills.

Saints Swimming Club also offers an Adult Programme that caters to swimmers of all abilities and goals. The Private lesson & Practise programme provides personalised coaching in 30-minute one-on-one sessions, followed by a 60-minute practise session. This programme allows adult swimmers to receive targeted guidance and training that is tailored to their specific needs.
