Sailing/Skills Weekend

Nomad Sailing invites you to join them for a Sailing/Skills Weekend on May 18th-19th, 2024. This weekend is tailor-made for those looking to hit the water and polish up their sailing abilities. Whether you're gearing up for a charter voyage or just want to refine your skills, our refresher weekends are crafted to give you the chance to practice and enhance your sailing prowess. Guided by our seasoned instructors, you'll sail with fellow enthusiasts and receive personalised coaching in areas where you feel you could use a little boost.

The weekend kicks off with a meet-and-greet with your instructor the evening before the course begins. Together, objectives for the weekend will be discussed, and a sailing trip will be planned taking into consideration tides and weather conditions to ensure everyone benefits from the coaching. Saturday sees us sail to another Solent harbour for an overnight stay, and on Sunday afternoon, we'll cruise back to our base in Gosport.

Nomad Sailing ensures all bases are covered with fully inclusive courses. This means accommodation on board is provided the night before the course commences, along with three meals a day plus snacks, mooring fees, and wet weather gear if required.

This course is best suited for individuals with some basic boat handling experience under both power and sail, such as Competent Crew and above. If you have any doubts about your eligibility or any other queries, do not hesitate to reach out to Lou or Jim for more information.
