

SAHIN Aikido is a private tuition Aikido school located in Enfield, London, United Kingdom. Aikido is a modern Japanese martial art developed by Morihei Ueshiba that combines martial studies, philosophy, and religious beliefs. The goal of Aikido is to defend oneself while also protecting the attacker from injury, emphasising harmony and unity.
The founder and Aikido instructor of SAHIN Aikido is Sait Ali ahin, who was born in Divrii, Sivas, Turkey in 1973. He graduated from the Industrial Vocational High School of Divrii and also holds an electrical technician degree from Frat University in Elaz, Turkey. Sait Ali Sensei began his Aikido journey in 2003 in Antalya, Turkey, a significant location for Aikikai in both Turkey and the Middle East. He trained under renowned instructors such as Osamu Furutani Sensei and Enis Yolcuer Sensei, eventually achieving his 2nd Dan from the Turkish Wushu Federation in 2016.
With over 18 years of Aikido experience, Sait Ali Sensei is committed to teaching Aikido to young generations, promoting harmony, spiritual strength, and peace.
The philosophy of Aikido is to respond to physical attacks by avoiding violence, seizing control of the situation, and neutralising the attack without causing harm to anyone involved. In addition to his dedication to Aikido, Sait Ali Sensei is also proficient in playing the Turkish cultural musical instrument called the balama/saz.
SAHIN Aikido offers classes for both children and adults. The children's classes take place on Sundays from 10:00 to 12:00, while the adult classes are held on Tuesdays from 18:30 to 20:00 and Saturdays from 18:00. The training sessions are conducted at the Alevi Cultural Centre of Britain, located on Great Cambridge Road in Enfield, London.
