Saffron Walden Bowls Club, located in the heart of the beautiful town of Saffron Walden, is one of the oldest bowls clubs in the country, founded in 1896. The club warmly welcomes new members of all ages who wish to play this wonderful game and become a part of our vibrant community.

At Saffron Walden Bowls Club, members have the opportunity to engage in friendly fixtures and club competitions throughout the year. In addition, the club fields teams in various leagues including the North West Essex League, the Steeple Bumpstead League, and the Herts and Essex Seniors League. The club also participates in county and national competitions such as the Essex County Shield and the National Top Club competition.
