Saddlewood Riding Camp and Equestrian Centre

Trot, and canter and our instructors focus on helping each rider become a confident and effective rider. Safety is our number one priority and all campers are taught safety rules on and around horses.

Activities Theres plenty to keep you busy at Saddlewood! The archery program at Saddlewood follows the program set out by the Ontario Association of Archers. The arts and crafts program is very popular, with campers learning new, valuable skills. Our afternoon sports program features a variety of activities designed to keep campers healthy and active.

Accommodation Our campers live in rustic platform tents with wooden floors nestled in the woods. Each tent houses between four and eight campers and has a wooden veranda facing out towards the riding rings. The tents are fully equipped with comfortable mattresses for each camper and a secure area for storing personal belongings. Campers are supervised by our well-trained and caring counsellors, who live in the tents with them.

Facilities Saddlewood Riding Camp and Equestrian Centre boasts state-of-the-art facilities for horse care, riding lessons, and other activities. Our barns are fitted with modern stabling and high-quality feed. We have multiple riding rings and training areas, as well as a cross-country course and trails for riding. Our dining hall serves nutritious meals three times a day and our arts and crafts building provides a space for creativity to flourish.
