Nomad Sailing is excited to offer the RYA Day Skipper Practical Course, designed to enhance your sailing skills and prepare you to captain a cruising yacht in both tidal and non-tidal waters. This course will take place in the bustling tidal waters of the Solent, offering a variety of beautiful harbours for you to practice your pilotage skills.
At Nomad Sailing, the focus is on ensuring that you graduate from the course as a confident, competent, and happy Skipper, ready to take on your first charter or flotilla adventure. The course will kick off and wrap up at Gosport Marina PO12 1AH, providing a convenient and picturesque setting for your training.
Before signing up for the Day Skipper Practical, it is essential that you have already reached a 'Competent Crew' standard and hold the Day Skipper Shorebased certificate. Additionally, please note that the minimum age requirement for this course is 16 years old.
