The Running Repairs Course at Momentum Sports Injury Clinic is a must-attend event for clinicians looking to enhance their skills in treating running injuries. Led by Tom Goom of Running Physio, this 2-day course combines practical solutions with theoretical knowledge, providing participants with an evidence-based approach to effectively address running-related issues.
Participants will learn to assess and treat common running injuries, identify potential causes of injury, and understand the importance of injury prevention. They will also gain the knowledge to tailor training programs to meet individual client needs, assess running gait, and provide re-education as necessary. The course will also cover the prescription of suitable strength and conditioning programs to improve pathology, reduce pain, and enhance performance.
Therapists attending the course will leave equipped with the expertise to treat a range of conditions commonly seen in runners, including tendinopathy, plantar fasciopathy, and patellofemoral pain. Through an interdisciplinary approach, participants will be able to provide optimal care to their running patients.
The Running Repairs Course will be held on Saturday, 20th April 2024 (9:00 AM) to Sunday, 21st April 2024 (5:00 PM) BST at Momentum Sports Injury Clinic, NE3 3PW.
