As a member of England Boxing, the National Governing Body for boxing in England, Runcorn ABC adheres to strict guidelines and governance set by the organisation. They prioritise the safety and welfare of their members, ensuring that proper coaching courses and DBS checking are in place. Additionally, they actively promote the sport of boxing and provide a talent pathway for aspiring boxers.

At the heart of Runcorn ABC is their state-of-the-art boxing gym. Equipped with four boxing rings, including a 20-foot competition ring and two 18-foot training rings, members have ample space to train and hone their skills. The gym also features a mirrored tech area and a strength and conditioning zone. In their bag area, members can find various types of bags, including aqua bags, heavy bags, and speedballs, among others.

Additionally, there is a dedicated cardio zone with treadmills and exercise bikes for members to improve their fitness levels.

The club also offers a range of classes, including boxing, kickboxing, and kung fu. They provide training for both amateurs and those looking to compete at a higher level. In addition, Runcorn ABC offers a unique “Disco Box” class exclusively for ladies, combining fitness and boxing techniques in a fun and energetic environment.

Runcorn ABC is also proud to introduce the AFA Boxing Academy programme. This programme aims to support boxers and young people with aspirations in the sport or leisure sector, providing them with the experience and qualifications needed to pursue various pathways, including university, apprenticeships, full-time employment, and elite-level performance. The programme also offers support with personal issues such as mental health or family life.

To enhance members' fitness journey, Runcorn ABC provides the option to work with personal trainers. These trainers will guide members through tailored programmes to help them achieve their fitness goals, whether that be improving boxing skills, building strength and conditioning, or overall fitness improvement.

Located in the Runcorn Shopping City, the Runcorn ABC Sports & Education Centre serves as a hub for both sport and education. In addition to boxing, the centre offers various classes and programmes to cater to different interests.
