Rugby Rovato

ASD Rugby Rovato: an active commitment to sports for the development of young talents. With over 40 years of history, our club is deeply rooted in the territory and focuses primarily on youth development. With more than 500 members, mostly from the Franciacorta area, we field multiple teams in each youth category (from under 6 to under 18), two senior teams, and a successful women's team, Rovato Queens.

Our presence extends beyond the field into local schools, villages, and neighboring towns, where our qualified instructors promote sportsmanship and teamwork, instilling values like respect, loyalty, and support for teammates. We aim to increase rugby participation by fostering partnerships with nearby clubs for youth development and knowledge exchange. This season, we've renewed a tutorship with Rugby Oltremella for under 18 and started a collaboration with I Centurioni Rugby for the under 16 category.

Rugby is a sport of physicality, discipline, and refined skills, emphasizing camaraderie and respect. Over four decades, we've overcome challenges with a strong team spirit, building a network of connections that extend internationally, fostering a cultural exchange with countries like New Zealand, Italy, and Argentina. We strive to pass down these values to the next generation, providing opportunities for young players to compete internationally and broaden their horizons.
