No matter if they are just starting out or aiming to be selected in representative sides, our club caters to everyone. We offer playing opportunities in a variety of grades across the Auckland Rugby Union competition, including Restricted, Capped, and Open grades. These grading options are available for boys and girls aged under 8, all the way up to under 13. For our girls, we have the privilege of hosting Under 15's and 17's teams as well.
One of the highlights at Pakuranga United is our lively Nursery grade competition, which takes place on Saturday mornings. Here, the little ones aged under 5 to under 7 years old have a blast learning the basic rugby skills and developing a love for the game. It's important to note that the matches in this grade are played in a safe, contact-free environment known as ripper rugby.
As the season progresses, our under 7's will have the opportunity to participate in workshops where they will transition into tackle rugby. This ensures a smooth progression for our young players and helps them build confidence in their rugby abilities.
