Are you the owner of Royal Oak Bowls?

Cribed as a vibrant and welcoming sports club, Royal Oak Bowls is located at 146 Selwyn Street, Onehunga, Auckland. This club was established in 2017 with the merge of Onehunga Bowling Club and Hillsboro Bowling Club, two well-respected and successful clubs in New Zealand.
Hillsboro Bowling Club, founded in 1925, enjoyed a strong reputation for almost a century. Their players achieved remarkable success at Auckland, Regional, and National levels, dominating the Auckland Centre in their final season in 2016-17. However, like many clubs, they faced challenges with declining membership and participation. The decision was made to join forces with Onehunga Bowling Club, their long-time rivals, to create Royal Oak Bowls.
Onehunga Bowling Club, founded in 1901, has a rich history steeped in success. They boasted prominent businessmen in their early membership and produced top-flight bowlers who won numerous titles at National and Centre levels. Some members even represented New Zealand in World, Empire, and Commonwealth Games, bringing great success and honour to the club. With enthusiasm and determination, Royal Oak Bowls embraces this new chapter in their combined history, aiming to continue their past successes on and off the greens.
Royal Oak Bowls Club welcomes new members, whether they are interested in playing bowls or socialising. They offer a membership category for everyone, ensuring a warm and inclusive atmosphere. Membership options for the 2023-24 season include full membership, limited membership, 1st-year full membership, student membership, and social membership (including Mahjong). The club guarantees that new members will feel right at home.
