Hampton Court Model Yacht Club is thrilled to announce the upcoming Round 2 of the 2024 M&S District IOM Championship, set to take place on Sunday, 19th May 2024. Sailors itching for some friendly competition are invited to join in at the Rick Pond, conveniently located near the clubhouse nestled in Home Park at Hampton Court Palace.
Participants can expect a full day of thrilling sailing action, with the clubhouse offering a warm and welcoming environment. Homemade soup and hot drinks will be on hand to keep everyone fueled and refreshed throughout the day. Parking is hassle-free near the clubhouse, so you can focus on the event itself.
Registration kicks off at 9.00 am on the day, followed by a briefing at 10.00 am. Race enthusiasts can look forward to multiple races adhering to the Racing Rules of Sailing 2021-24 and MYA Standard Sailing Instructions. Prizes await the top three helms at the end of the racing, presented at the clubhouse.
