Rosewood Highland Dance School, situated in Banbury, Oxfordshire, invites individuals of all ages and abilities to join their dynamic classes. Founded in January 2018 by School Principal Camilla Rose, Rosewood has swiftly established itself as one of Oxfordshire's leading Highland Dance Schools.
With her extensive experience in Highland Dancing, Camilla Rose continues the legacy of Acushla Highland Dance School, previously directed by Mandy Duffy. Rosewood stands out not just as a dance school but as a community where students thrive. The school has proudly been featured on A League of Their Own, performed at the 2015 Berlin Tattoo, and even graced Buckingham Palace in 2017. Rosewood dancers have made notable appearances both locally and abroad.
Rosewood Highland Dance School offers a range of opportunities for its students, from performances to competitions and exams, allowing them to hone their skills and expand their dance portfolios. Supported by a team of trained teachers, the school welcomes students from the age of four, regardless of their dance background.
Classes are hosted on Wednesday evenings at Hill View School in Banbury. Three distinct classes accommodate varying skill levels and age groups: Class 1 for beginners (aged four and up) from 5.30pm to 6.15pm, Class 2 for novice and intermediate dancers from 6.15pm to 7.15pm, and Class 3 for advanced pupils from 7.15pm to 8.15pm. All are welcome to join any suitable class.
