About
Welcome to Rosemellyn Fisheries! Located in Saint Austell, the UK, Rosemellyn Fisheries is a unique fishing camp designed for seasoned carp fishermen. Nestled in a former clay mine that's been untouched for over a century, it features a stunning natural fishing lake spanning around 6 acres.
The lake, with depths over 36ft, offers a challenging experience. Each year, 200 carp are introduced, testing anglers with weights ranging from 20lb to over 30lb. Fishing is priced at £20 per day (24hrs), with discounts for weekly bookings.
To fish here, you'll need a valid rod licence. A 50% booking fee is required and non-refundable. The rules are straightforward: a maximum of 3 rods per person, use microbarbed hooks only, and don’t leave rods unattended. Landing mats, slings, and cradles are provided, and nets must be dipped on arrival. Bait boats are allowed, but no nuts or peanuts. All fish caught must be returned to the lake.
Children under 16 must be with an adult, and fishing is limited to your designated swim. Poles and keep nets are not allowed. Moderate alcohol consumption is fine, but no drugs are permitted. BBQs are allowed if off the ground, and anglers must clean their swim before leaving.
