Roped Climbing Induction

Summit Up Climbing, Greater Manchester, is excited to announce their upcoming Roped Climbing Induction event! Perfect for anyone who has always wanted to climb independently, this session is designed to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge needed to embark on their own climbing journey.

Led by experienced instructors, the induction will cover various aspects of climbing, including roped climbing, auto belay, and bouldering areas. Whether you're a complete beginner or have some experience under your belt, this event is suitable for individuals aged 5 and above. Plus, we allow a maximum of two children per participating adult, making it a great opportunity for families to bond and explore the exciting world of climbing together.

During the induction, participants will learn how to use the bouldering area safely, fit a harness correctly, attach the rope securely, as well as master the art of belaying and utilising auto belays. Safety is of utmost importance to us, which is why all necessary equipment will be provided, ensuring a worry-free experience.
