Recently, the Romsey & District Badminton Club has experienced a surge of interest, resulting in a high number of new joiners. While this is fantastic for the club, it has led to reaching its current capacity, making it unable to take on new players at this time. However, the club now operates a waiting list for those who inquire about joining, and they will be contacted as soon as openings become available.
The club is particularly interested in established players aged 18 to 100 who possess a diverse range of shots, court positional sense, and good mobility. Although the club does not participate in league badminton, players always give their best efforts and enjoy a laugh together regardless of the outcome. Additionally, players can expect minimal resting time between matches, as the club strives to keep everyone actively engaged on the court.
Romsey & District Badminton Club proudly utilises Yonex Mavis 300 nylon shuttlecocks, ensuring a high-quality playing experience for its members. To encourage newcomers, the club offers a complimentary evening for the first visit, allowing individuals to experience the club's atmosphere and meet fellow badminton enthusiasts.
