Rollercity Rochdale, at the Royale Centre on Platting Lane, is your go-to spot for roller skating fun in the North West. With space for over 100 skaters, Paul has made sure there's plenty to do. There are licenced bars, comfy lounge areas, free wifi, and a customer car park with free parking.
Paul offers regular skate disco sessions and skate school lessons, especially on weekends and school holidays. New skaters should start with the skate school, and don't forget your wrist guards – you can buy them at reception.
For those new to skating, Paul recommends booking 10 skate school sessions. You’ll learn everything from basic moves to skating backwards, and it’s a cracking way to burn up to 500 calories an hour.
Thinking of throwing a party? Paul’s got you covered with different packages for all ages. The Silver Skate package includes skate hire, 90 minutes of skating, a hot meal, unlimited squash, a party host, basic tuition, invitations, and party games. The Gold Skate package adds party bags and a dance routine tutorial.
Rollercity operates on Fridays from 7-9pm, Saturdays from 1-9pm, and Sundays from 1-5pm. For private events or skate discos, just drop Paul an email.
