We specialise in show jumping and also offer lessons in dressage.
We have a diverse selection of ponies and horses that are safe, well-trained, and full of personality. Our instructors and staff are friendly, kind, and supportive, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for all riders. We understand that riding is both an enjoyable experience and a learning opportunity, and we aim to make every lesson a memorable one.
We offer group lessons for children aged 6 and above, as well as adults. Our lessons are designed to teach solid foundational skills to beginners and help more advanced riders improve their abilities. We recommend riding at least once a week for optimal progress, but we are flexible and happy to accommodate riders who prefer a more irregular schedule.
In addition to regular lessons, we also offer pony days, which are full-day experiences that include two hours of riding and pony care. Pony days are a great way for riders to deepen their bond with horses and develop their horsemanship skills.
For those looking for a unique and memorable birthday celebration, Rocklane Riding Centre offers birthday rides for small groups of 4 to 6 children. These rides include instruction and mounted games, providing a fun and educational experience for all participants.
Please note that our prices range from 26 for a child's hour group lesson to 50 for a forty-five-minute private or semi-private lesson. We also offer rental options for hats and body protectors. Payment for our services can be made in cash, through PayPal, or via bank transfer.
Our facilities include an indoor school measuring 18 × 25 metres, ensuring that lessons are not affected by weather conditions. We also provide boots for borrowing and offer horse rental options for those who do not have their own.
