Rock Tots and Rock Kids Climbing Classes are available at The Depot Climbing in Leeds. These classes are specifically designed for children aged 1–6 years. If your little one falls between the ages of 1–4 years, they can join the Rock Tots classes accompanied by a supervising adult. However, if you have an older child up to the age of 6 years, they can also participate in this class while accompanying a younger sibling. On the other hand, if your child is between 3–6 years old, they can take part in the Rock Kids classes along with a supervising adult. Younger children, starting from the age of 2 years, are also welcome to join the class if they are accompanying an older sibling. Plus, each adult can supervise up to two children, including babies, at the climbing centre.

- Rock Kids: 10-11 am
- Induction: 4-5 pm

To participate in the classes, the fee is £7.50 for one child and one adult. If you have a second child over 12 months, the price will be £4. It's important to note that classes must be booked in advance and in blocks of four weeks. They don't have to be consecutive weeks either, so if you have a week where you're unavailable, you can simply roll over your booking to a different date. A waiting list will be created, and you'll be notified via email when a place becomes available.
Before your little one jumps into the action, there's a one-off induction that needs to be completed. This induction covers significant centre rules, safety information, and all the class details. For Rock Tots and Rock Kids class participants, the induction fee is £5. If you've been to the centre before but haven't attended a Rock Tots class, you'll need to attend another induction to review the class details (no fee required for this second induction). The induction can be completed before the first class, and it typically takes about half an hour. Before attending the induction, there are some online forms to fill out. You can access these forms through the provided booking link. As the children's young age makes it challenging for them to understand all the safety information, it's crucial for the supervising adult to reinforce the rules and ensure the child's safety throughout their time at the centre. If possible, it's recommended to complete the induction without young children present or to arrange for someone to help look after them during the induction.
