The karate training at the club encompasses a comprehensive mix of warm-ups, stretching exercises, and structured teaching. Students will learn the basics of striking, blocking, and evading techniques, as well as engage in pad work for punching, kicking, and blocking. Karate sparring and competition fighting, known as Kumite, are regularly taught and practised in the club.
Rochdale Warriors Karate Club focuses on both the traditional and sport aspects of karate. The club provides coaching and preparation for students who are interested in competing in tournaments. They aim to develop well-rounded karate practitioners who can excel in both traditional and sport karate.
