Established in 1912 during a spectacular boom in Saskatoon, Riverside Country Club was designed by Scottish Golf Professional, William Kinnear, who used the natural contours of the Saskatchewan prairies to create the undulating fairways and bunkers reminiscent of a Scottish-style course. Over the years, the course has seen improvements and renovations by renowned Canadian golf course architects, making it a historic and picturesque destination for golf enthusiasts.

Riverside Country Club has hosted numerous prestigious Canadian Amateur Championships, including the RCGA Canadian Mens Amateur Championship and the CLGA Canadian Womens Amateur Championship.
