Riverlakes Golf Course has a strict dress code, with collared shirts being a requirement for all players. Each player must have their own set of clubs and bag, and a maximum of 4 players are allowed per group. Ground staff have the right of way at all times.

For those who prefer to use golf carts, each cart is limited to a maximum of 2 persons and 2 bags. Carts are not allowed on green surrounds, tees, or wet areas. Additionally, only individuals aged 18 and above are permitted to drive golf carts.

Riverlakes Golf Course also has clear rules in place regarding out of bounds areas, immovable obstructions, and obstructions. The course provides defined boundaries with white stakes and black tops for out of bounds areas. Additionally, all cart paths through the green and distance markers are treated as immovable obstructions. Golfers are also advised to refrain from hitting power lines and are required to replay their shot without penalty if their ball strikes a power line.

Furthermore, Riverlakes Golf Course offers distance measuring devices to enhance the golfing experience. Players are allowed to use devices that measure distance only during their rounds.
