Scott understands that the primary aim for guests is catching brown trout, so he’s sorted all the accommodation logistics. You’ll be staying at the new Grand Suites in Murchison, just two blocks from downtown. There, you can find a few good restaurants and a grocery store for your brekkie and dinner needs. Feel like cooking? No worries, as the suites come with fully equipped kitchens too.
River Haven Lodge is smack in the middle of Kahurangi National Park, right where you can access over thirty rivers by car and another twenty by helicopter. They’ve got ties with four helicopter companies to take you wherever you fancy, depending on the weather and your preferences. Flights are always confirmed the morning of the trip to ensure you're getting the best conditions.
The accommodation itself is in partnership with Grand Suites. Whether you're after a cosy studio or a spacious three-bedroom family unit, they've got something to fit your needs. The suites are two blocks from downtown Murchison, making it super easy to get to the restaurants and grocery store. Plus, there’s on-site staff and services like chef-prepared frozen meals and breakfast delivery. Rooms are serviced every two days to keep things comfy and fresh.
