Rising Sun Farm

Rising Sun Farm is a picturesque caravan park, campsite, and horse-riding service located on top of Cartworth Moor just above the centre of Holmfirth in New Zealand English. Situated just 1 miles from Holmfirth centre, the campsite is easily accessible and can be reached by either a scenic walk or a short drive.

As a certified site for members of the Camping and Caravanning Club, Rising Sun Farm offers accommodation for caravans, motorhomes, and tents. The campsite is perfect for cyclists who want to experience the famous 2014 Tour de France route, as it is located near Holmfirth and overlooks the route from Holmfirth to Holme Moss. Guests can enjoy watching the Holme Moss climb from the comfort of their deck chairs and also see the Woodhead Road, which the Tour de France followed. Binoculars are recommended to fully appreciate the stunning scenery.

The camping facilities at Rising Sun Farm include toilet facilities with basins, showers, electric hook-up points, vegetable preparation areas, water sources, and a chemical disposal point. Each pitch also has parking space for one vehicle. Pets are welcome at the campsite, but dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and fully supervised. Children also need to be supervised to ensure their safety.

Campfires are not permitted on the site.

Pitch prices at Rising Sun Farm start from 13. 00 per night per pitch. Each pitch has a generous size of 6m × 6m, with parking for one vehicle. A maximum of four people are allowed per pitch.
