The Porsche Club of the Northern Territory Inc is thrilled to announce the upcoming Ride Against Cancer event at the V8 Supercars Hidden Valley Race Track in Berrimah, NT. This community-friendly event offers participants the chance to complete a single lap or take on the challenge of 66 laps, all for a great cause. Whether you prefer biking, walking, running, or even skating, there's a way for everyone to get involved and show their support for the Northern Territory Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre.
The event was inspired by the generosity of Motorsports NT member, Mr. Clive Baxter, who wanted to give back to the center that provided invaluable support to him and his late wife, Chantal. The 66 laps challenge holds special significance, as it pays tribute to Chantal, who sadly passed away at the age of 66. It's a meaningful way to honor her memory and contribute to the important work being done at the cancer care center.
Families, individuals, and teams are all encouraged to join in on the action and make a difference by donating to this worthy cause. Remember to come prepared for a day of fun in the sun by bringing water, sunscreen, and a hat to stay comfortable on the track. Let's come together as a community and support those in need of treatment at the Northern Territory Alan Walker Cancer Care Centre.
