Throughout the weekend, participants will engage in various activities to reset their body and mind. Take a plunge in some of the Highland's most spectacular Lochs with the guidance of certified instructors and fellow cold water enthusiasts. Embark on wilderness walks led by local guides, giving you the opportunity to bond with your fellow Hoffers and soak up the stunning surroundings.
Experience the game-changing effects of the Wim Hof Method breathing technique under the expert guidance of an instructor. Gain a deeper understanding of the science behind the method, presented through the latest studies. Explore the expansive and relaxing nature of hot and cold therapy as you cycle through the sauna and wild lochs. And throughout it all, reconnect with nature in the beautiful forest and mountain scenery of the Cairngorms National Park.
In terms of nourishment, the whole weekend is catered for with delicious, nourishing meals provided each day, accommodating both meat, fish, and dairy options as well as plant-based, gluten-free meals. This event is suitable for everyone, but a basic level of health and fitness is required, including the ability to walk for at least 2 hours.
Please note that participation is not recommended during pregnancy or for individuals with epilepsy or serious health conditions. Prior to the event, participants will be asked to complete a health declaration form. Please also note that participants must be 18 years or older.
The retreat will take place from April 26th to April 29th, 2024, starting at 6:00 PM on Friday and ending at 9:00 AM on Monday. Accommodation will be provided at Badaguish Forest Lodges in Aviemore, with single beds in shared dorms. The package includes full board, with breakfast, lunch, and dinner included. Transfers from and to Inverness Airport are also included×. A deposit of £195 GBP is required to secure your spot, and the total cost is £495 GBP or 650€ EUR, with the remaining balance of £300 due 2 months prior to the event. Flights are not included, and participants are responsible for arranging their own travel to the lodges. Please review the cancellation policy before making your booking.
